Sandblast This
Thursday, January 1st, 2009Rod Blagojevich is the gift that keeps on giving. By nominating Roland Burris to the US Senate on December 30, Blago effectively raises the finger to the incoming congress, Obama, and the people of Illinois. Will the Senate seat Burris? Will the race card be played? I can’t wait to find out. Thanks Blago. Now go %*#$ yourself.
Apparently, Burris suggested himself as a caretaker of the senate seat. At 71 years old, he would serve just the two remaining years of Obama’s term. It is apparent why Burris holds appeal for Blago. Burris has had a fine career as a state politician in Illinois. And he wants you, me, and the dead to know it. Some might describe Burris’ ego as brobdingnagian. His ego can be faintly gleaned from careful examination of the Burris mausoleum in Chicago’s Oak Woods Cemetery.
In the middle, it says
Trail Blazer

On the right, there is a list of “Major Accomplishments” and the left, there is a list of ”Other Major Accomplishments”. There certainly appears to be room, somewhere, to list
Appointment To The US Senate By That @&$#*^, Rod Blagojevich
How often are headstone carvers called upon to sand blast @&$#*^ ? Not often, I’m sure. But I have a feeling that we might be seeing greater demand around Chicago. I wonder if they charge extra for special characters?
